Professional Design, Installation, and Service
Don’t settle for systems that are grossly inadequate and are extremely poor in quality and reliability. Your family, your home or business is at risk!

PHASE 1 ELECTRONICS systems are designed by educated electrical engineers, not high school dropouts. Each system is custom designed to fit the customer’s needs. PHASE 1 ELECTRONICS does not offer any out of the box systems or one- size-fits-all systems.

PHASE 1 ELECTRONICS installers are employed solely byPHASE 1 ELECTRONICS. A subcontractor will never show up for installation or service. This allows for PHASE 1 ELECTRONICS to maintain a superior level of service quality as well as make sure the installers are constantly receiving continuing education.

PHASE 1 ELECTRONICS alarm monitoring incorporates a UL® approved monitoring center. The UL® symbol means that Underwriter Laboratories has inspected the call center and found that it meets and/or exceeds strict guidelines for power redundancy, phone line availability, and staff availability.

Security systems reduce crime in commercial settings.
Businesses without alarm systems are 4.5 times more likely to be burglarized
than those that have an alarm system.

Of all uncompleted burglaries, 74% can be credited to an audible alarm.

Burglar & Fire Alarm Systems:
Security and fire monitoring systems can do more than just monitor your building for fire and burglary attempts. Everyone knows they can be set to monitor doors and windows, but they can do much more.

*Detect smoke and heat
*Detect carbon monoxide
*Detect freezing temperatures
*Detect attempted forced entries
*Detect rising water

Sensors may be combined to detect one or several effects.
A motion sensor can activate a camera so there is no wasted recording time. There are even ways to install systems that notify the owner if the sensors themselves have been tampered with.

A burglary or fire does not go unnoticed when the business is unoccupied. A monitored system provides automatic notification of the appropriate authorities in the event of intrusion, fire, or any other problem whether the premises are occupied or not. This can save lives as well as inventory, and equipment.

Access Control Systems:
For companies who wish to maintain stronger access security, control employee liability, or wish to effectively monitor specific areas, access control systems may be the answer. Access control systems can consist of one or a number of systems depending on what the is needed.

TYPES OF ACCESS CONTROL SYSTEMS

Keyless Locks
-Keypad Based
-Magnetic Card Readers
-Proximity Sensor

Proximity Sensor
-Keychain Based
-Name Badge Based

Card Reader
-Magnetic Cards
-Punch Cards
-Proprietary Cards

Biometric Scanner
-Face
-Eye (Retinal/Iris)
-Fingerprint
-Hand
-Handwriting
-Voice

Many of these systems can be combined, and many of them can now be tied into computer systems and log events.

For example, if a technology company has a great deal of lower level employees and wanted to keep the building’s doors locked at all times, they could install locks that require a proprietary magnetic card on all the exterior doors. This would solve the problem of trying to give every employee a key, plus keys can copied and lost. If someone loses a magnetic card, the company can quickly change the coding on all their magnetic cards, a much more cost effective and speedy solution. If the company maintained a more secure area, an area that contained proprietary information or valuable items, they could install a biometric reader. In recent years the cost of access control systems has decreased, while the available choices have increased.

Telephone & Intercom Systems:
The ability to effectively communicate within, and outside your business using a phone and/or intercom system is key.

New phone and intercom systems offer a variety of time saving and convenience features.  Some these features include but are not limited to:

  • Conference call features
  • Call transfer
  • Fax/modem/answering machine integration
  • Hands-free headsets
  • Voice over IP (VOIP)
  • Caller ID

Aging systems can often be upgraded to utilize more current technologies without a complete system change over. For example Lucent’s Merling Legend System™ which is a fairly common small-midsize business system can be upgraded using the new Merlin Magix module which allows customers to use a converged T1 connection for high-speed Internet access from a local area network (LAN) in addition to sending local and long distance calls to the PSTN.

Closed Circuit Video Systems:
Closed Circuit Television Systems, or CCTV allow for businesses to monitor property and employees and record the activity onsite or remotely. CCTV not only serves as a theft deterrence and security monitoring device, but can also record activity in areas where on the job injuries, or inappropriate workplace behavior is taking place.

Remote Video & Alarm Monitoring:
Phase 1 Electronics alarm monitoring incorporates a UL® approved monitoring center. The UL® symbol means that Underwriter Laboratories has inspected the call center and found that it meets and/or exceeds strict guidelines for power redundancy, phone line availability, and staff availability. PHASE 1 ELECTRONICS also offers the advanced service of remote video monitoring. With this service your CCTV system transmits recorded images though a phone or data line to a remote location for recording. This prevents the tampering and theft of surveillance materials.

An alarm/fire/CCTV system is only as good as the monitoring that supports it.
Remote video monitoring does not require special communication lines, many systems will work over standard phone lines as well as standard broadband internet connections.

Our call in monitoring center is staffed:
24 hours a day,
7 days a week,
365 days a year
with experienced, trained staff.

Closed Circuit Video Systems:

  • Have you ever had the doorbell ring at an unexpected time and wondered who was there?
  • Have you ever heard a sound outside your home, but were too afraid to go outside to check?
  • Are you often home alone?
  • Are your children ever at home unattended?
  • Do you have an unconnected building such as a garage, or a large property?
  • Do you have a pool and children?                                                                                    Closed Circuit Television Systems, or CCTV may be the security solution you are looking for.
Camera costs have fallen drastically in recent years, while the quality and technology has increased. Video monitoring of your property is no longer exclusively for the rich.

Burglar & Fire Alarm Systems:
Security and fire monitoring systems can do more than just monitor your home for fire or burglary attempts.

*Monitor doors & Windows
*Detect smoke and heat
*Detect carbon monoxide
*Detect freezing temperatures
*Detect attempted forced entries
*Detect rising water
*Monitor your pool for anyone that falls in
*Hand-held keypads available

Sensors can also be combined. A motion sensor can activate a camera so there is no wasted recording time. There are even ways to install systems that notify the owner if the sensors themselves have been tampered with. Add-on features such as handheld remote alarm buttons can summon police or medical services for those who can not physically make it to a keypad.
